Turkey Lasagna Recipe
Ingredients:
- 3 cups roasted turkey
- 1 lb cooked lasagna pasta
- 2 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese.
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 large onion cut into thin squares
- 2 tbsp ground garlic
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 2 (15oz) cans canned tomatoes
- 1 (8oz)can tomato paste
- 12 fresh basil leaves
Procedure:
In a large pan add olive oil and saute the onion, garlic and oregano and season with a flicker of salt and pepper. Add the white wine and reduce by half, then add the canned tomatoes and the tomato paste, saute and stew slowly for 18 min. Finish with fresh basil, salt and pepper to taste and one or two tbsp of sugar to cut the acidity of the tomato. In a mold begin to create layers of sauce, cooked pasta, roasted turkey, sauce and cheeses and repeat until filling the mold. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove foil and brown for 10 minutes more.
