Not At All Like As-Described

Very disappointing. The coffee I received is nothing like the description of its profile in its advertisement. I have gone through one pound of the two pound bag of beans so far. I steep freshly ground beans in 195℉ Crystal Geyser bottled spring water for 5 minutes before filtering through a paper cone filter. This process is identical for every cup of joe I make. This "Selecto" bean produces a cup of joe nothing like its hype; it is not smooth, creamy, nor does it have a sweet character. However, it is consistently on the bitter and chalky side of the scale with slightly burnt under tones---nothing sweet about it. Typical of over-roasted beans in my opinion. Maybe a bad batch of beans or a roasting that got away from the chef. Who knows? But forewarned is forearmed. I won't be a repeat buyer for this bean.
