Natilla Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 egg yolks
- Pinch salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
Procedure:
Combine egg yolks, salt, sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Add a small amount of milk and stir to form a smooth paste. Add the remainder of the milk. Place over medium heat and stir continuously. Continue stirring until it begins to boil, then stir for another minute. Add vanilla. Remove and pour in individual dessert containers. Allow to cool. Chill before serving.
