Pinto Beans, Habichuelas Pintas Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 can 16oz pinto beans
- 1/2 cup diced ham
- 1/4 cup sofrito
- 1 cup of water
- 5 olives halved
- 1 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 packet sazon
Procedure:
In a pot, add a little olive oil and quickly brown ham and sofrito. Add beans and mix around. Add remaining ingredients and cook on low for 30 minutes. Stir twice during cooking process.
