Cuatro Leches Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 condensed milk
- Cinnamon to taste
- Nutmeg to taste
- Vanilla to taste
- 1 yellow cake box
- 4 egg whites
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Procedure:
In a saucepan heat the four milks and season to taste with cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Prepare and bake the cake per box instructions. Cool down and cut the top of the cake to make it flat. Pour milk mixture over the cake in a large mold capable of holding the mixture. In an electric beater beat the egg whites with the sugar and lemon until meringue point. After 3 hrs on the refrigerator decorate with the meringue.
