Chicken Breast in Herbal Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh herbs (cilantro, oregano, basil)
- 1 tsp of cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Procedure:
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and in a frying pan with little oil brown chicken over a high heat for 2 min.each side then lower the heat and cook on low heat for 12 min. Once the breasts are ready remove from the pan and let stand, add the wine to the pan and let reduce, add broth and boil for 1 min. Add the herbs and mix the cornstarch, the water and mix, boil until thickened, season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve the chicken breast and top with the sauce mix.
