Chicken Turnovers, Empanadillas de Pollo Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked roast chicken
- Turnovers discs
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 2 tbsp grated ball cheese
- Water for sealing
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp ground garlic
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Lemon to taste
Procedure:
In the center of each disc add one tbsp chicken, half tbsp sour cream, half tbsp cheese. Use water on the inside corner of each disc and close, Seal with a fork. Fry each turnover on vegetable oil on medium high, about 2 minutes each side or until golden brown. For the mayo ketchup, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, garlic, salt, pepper and lemon.
